Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (60 g) brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons chipotle chile pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 pounds (1.45 kg) pork baby back ribs
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375 F (180 C).

Step 2

In a small mixing bowl, combine chipotle chile pepper, brown sugar, chili powder, ground cinnamon, garlic powder, and sea salt. Mix well. Rub pork ribs with the spice mixture.

Step 3

Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil. Arrange spiced ribs in a single layer on foil-lined roasting pan. Pour 1/4 cup water over the pan and cover with aluminum foil.

Step 4
