Beef Stew with Mushrooms

Beef stew with mushrooms. Cubed beef with mushrooms and onion soup cooked in slow cooker. Very easy and delicious recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (960 g) stewing beef,cubed
  • 1 can (10 ¾ oz (355 ml)) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 oz (120 ml) can mushrooms
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 a soup can of water

Method

Step 1

Sprinkle bottom of greased slow cooker with ¼ of dry soup mix. Layer in meat , mushroom soup,canned mushrooms,and remaining dry onion soup mix. Pour water over.

Step 2

Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 8 hours. Serve over cooked rice,mashed potatoes or noodles.
