Simple Caesar Salad Recipe

Ingredients: For Dressing: 1 clove garlic, peeled and cut, 1 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, 4 anchovy fillets, 1/4 cup (60 ml) tarragon vinegar, 1 cup (250 ml) olive oil, 1 large egg, unbeaten

For Salad: 2 lettuce hearts, 2 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced, 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil, 1 cup croutons, 3 tablespoons finely chopped parsley, 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions: To make a dressing: Rub a salad bowl with the cut clove of garlic. Add salt, cracked black pepper, mustard, sugar, squeezed lemon juice, and anchovy fillets. Mash until smooth. Stir in vinegar, olive oil, and egg. Mix well with a fork until blended.

To make a salad: Tear fresh lettuce hearts into small pieces. cover the garlic with olive oil and set aside for at least 30 minutes. Use the garlic flavored oil to fry the croutons until golden on all sides. drain and pat dry with paper towels. Stir the dressing in the salad bowl, then put lettuce on the top. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Roll the salad gently from the bottom of the bowl, so that the dressing coats the lettuce evenly. Sprinkle crispy croutons and Parmesan cheese over and serve immediately.

Easy Cheesy Caesar Salad Recipe


  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 pieces of white bread
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • bunch of lettuce
  • dash seasoning,to taste
  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


Step 1

Put the garlic in olive oil and leave for 3-4 hours. After that, drain the oil into a bowl.

Step 2

Cut bread into 5 mm cubes and fry in 4 tablespoons of garlic butter until golden brown. Dry out on paper kitchen towels.

Step 3

Combine the remaining oil with the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Tear lettuce into pieces and place in salad bowl. Pour the prepared dressing and mix well.

Step 4

On top lay eggs, scraping from shell a protein and mix to the egg is united with the dressing. Add cheese and croutons, before submitting a mix once again.
