Egyptian kebab recipe.Very delicious Egyptian chicken kebab.Very easy to cook!
- 2 whole skinless and boneless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
Cut chicken breasts into 16 squares.
In a large mixing bowl,combine cubed chicken yogurt,salt,turmeric,mustard,curry powder,cardamom,lemon juice and vinegar. Mix well,set aside and allow to marinate for 1 hour.
Tread marinated chicken cubes onto soaked bamboo skewers.
Cook slowly,turning time from time and brushing with the marinade,over hot coals or under the broiler until chicken breasts are tender,about 10 minutes. Transfer to a hot plate,sprinkle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and garnish with fresh tomatoes, fresh mint or parsley.
