Honey-Dijon chicken recipe pressure cooker.Chicken breasts with tasty homemade honey-Dijon sauce cooked in electric pressure cooker.

You can also cook Honey-Dijon Chicken in slow cooker.To make it you need to use the following ingredients:

2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts

1½ teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 cups (500 ml) honey-Dijon mustard

Instructions:

Grease insight of cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.Sprinkle with garlic and onion powders.

Pour Honey-Dijon salad dressing over/Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 8-10 hours.

Turn off slow cooker.Using a tongs,remove cooked chicken breasts from slow cooker and transfer to serving plate.Pour Honey-Dijon Mustard over.Serve hot.

Honey-Dijon Chicken Recipe Pressure Cooker

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (960 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) coarse mustrad,whole grain
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup (250 ml) low-fat chicken broth

Method

Step 1

In a mixing bowl,combine mustard,honey,brown sugar,onion powder and salt. Mix well to create a glaze.

Step 2

Place chicken breasts in bottom of pressure cooker. Pour half of mustard mixture over chicken,reserving another half of glaze. Pour chicken broth over all.

Step 3

Close pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set burner heat to high pressure. When cooker reaches high pressure,reduce heat to low. Set timer to cook for 8 minutes.

Step 4

Open pressure cooker,using a Quick Release method. Using a tongs,remove cooked chicken and transfer to serving plate. Pour reserved mustard mixture over and serve hot.
