Oven Cooked Meatballs

Oven cooked meatballs. Beef and pork meatballs cooked in halogen (turbo) oven.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound (240 g) extra-lean ground pork
  • 1/2 pound (240 g) ground beef
  • 1 large onion,peeled,finely chopped
  • 2 cups (500 ml) homemade beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg,lightly beaten
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 8-10 pieces of fragrant pepper
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1

Combine together ground beef and ground pork in mixing bowl. Mix well. Add egg,salt and black pepper to taste. Wet your hands in the water. Roll meat mixture into a balls

Step 2

Preheat vegetable oil in large nonstick skillet. Cook meatballs until browned.

Step 3

Arrange cooked meatballs in ceramic pots. Pour over beef broth to cover meatballs. Add fragrant pepper and bay leaves. Put in turbo oven

Step 4

Cover and cook for 1 hour at 480°F (250°C) Sprinkle oven cooked meatballs with fresh herbs.
