Slow Cooker Beef in Beer2012-09-30

- 6 potatoes,peeled and quartered
- 3 onions,peeled and quartered
- 1 cup carrots,sliced
- 3-4 pounds(1,4-1,7 kg) corned beef brisket,fat removed
- 1 cup (250 ml) beer
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
Combine onions,potatoes,and carrots in slow cooker. Arrange beef atop vegetables. Pour beer over all. Cover and cook on low heat for 9-11 hours.
Slice the beef thinly across the grain. Serve slow cooker beef with vegetables.
