Slow Cooker Beef in Beer

Slow cooker beef in beer. Corned beef brisket with vegetables and beer cooked in slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes,peeled and quartered
  • 3 onions,peeled and quartered
  • 1 cup carrots,sliced
  • 3-4 pounds(1,4-1,7 kg) corned beef brisket,fat removed
  • 1 cup (250 ml) beer
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

Method

Step 1

Combine onions,potatoes,and carrots in slow cooker. Arrange beef atop vegetables. Pour beer over all. Cover and cook on low heat for 9-11 hours.

Step 2

Slice the beef thinly across the grain. Serve slow cooker beef with vegetables.
