Slow Cooker Burritos

Slow cooker burritos.Shredded beef cooked in slow cooker and served with warm tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds (1.440 kg) boneless beef chuck shoulder roast
  • 24 oz (720 g) salsa
  • flour tortillas,warmed
  • For Toppings:
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • shredded lettuce
  • diced tomato
  • diced guacamole
  • diced onion and salsa

Method

Step 1

Place beef in 4½-quart(4½L) slow cooker. Top with 24 oz(720 g) jar of salsa.

Step 2

Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 8-10 hours.

Step 3

Remove cooked beef from slow cooker. Shred it,using two forks.

Step 4

Return shredded beef to cooking liquid and mix well. Cover slow cooker and cook until heated through(about 1-2 hours).

Step 5

Serve shredded beef wrapped in warm tortillas. Top as desired.Enjoy!
