Slow Cooker Lemon Cream Cheese Bites
- 9 oz (270 g) package yellow cake mix
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature
- 2 oz (60 g) reduced-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup (60 g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- lemon glaze (see recipe below)
In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, beaten egg, and butter. Mix well, reserving 1 cup (250 g) of dough. Pat the remaining dough evenly in the bottom of greased 7-inch (17.5 cm) spring-form pan. Bake in preheated oven (350 F) until lightly browned (for about 10 minutes).
