Ingredients: 1 (3 lb) pork shoulder roast, trimmed and cut into 4 pieces

1 (14 oz) can of tomato sauce

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

1 tablespoon of paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 2 bay leaves

1 cup of chicken stock

1 (6 oz) can of beer

Directions: Make sure the bottom of your crock pot is clean. Add the sauce, wine, garlic, bay leaves, and stock in a crock pot. Place the pork on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Cover with lid and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours until pork falls apart when poked with a fork. Remove from heat, remove bay leaves, and shred using two forks or your hands.

-1 tbsp. of olive oil

-2 tsp. of paprika

-1/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper

-1/2 tsp. of garlic powder

-3 lbs. of pork shoulder (with or without bone)

-Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cut the pork shoulder into 3-inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper and then coat with the olive oil, paprika, cayenne, and garlic powder mixture before placing in the slow cooker on high for 6 hours or low for 8 hours.

After 6 hours on high or 8 hours on low, remove from the slow cooker and shred with two forks before serving either on a bun or over rice or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz (540 ml) barbecue sauce
