Tiramisu Dessert

Tiramisu dessert. Very tasty Italian dessert.Ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs,separated
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pound (480 g) mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) strongly brewed President's blend Espresso Coffee
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) coffee-flavored liqueur(Kahlua)
  • 24 Italian-style ladyfingers(Savoiardo)
  • unsweetened cocoa powder

Method

Step 1

In a mixer,combine egg yolks and granulated sugar. Beat until thick and lemon colored.

Step 2

Add mascarpone cheese and beat until thick and smooth.

Step 3

In mixing bowl,beat egg whites until soft pick form. Fold into mascarpone mixture.

Step 4

In another mixing bowl,combine espresso coffee and Kahlua liqueur. Mix well and briefly dip half the ladyfingers into coffee mixture.

Step 5

Arrange in single layer in glass serving bowl. Cover with half of mascarpone mixture.

Step 6

Repeat with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture. Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder.

Step 7

Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 6-8 hours. Serve Tiramisu dessert cold.
