Warm croissant brie caramelized onion sandwiches.Very easy and tasty appetizer.Use for lunch,dinner and especially late in the evening. You may cook caramelized onions in pressure cooker.

Ingredients

  • 2 croissants,halved horizontally
  • 3 oz (90g) Brie cheese,thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup caramelized onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Method

Step 1

Spread an equal amounts of brie cheese,caramelized onions and thyme on bottom half of croissant. Top with reaming half of croissant. Arrange on baking sheet.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C). Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and surface of croissant is golden brown,for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Remove baked croissants from the oven. Transfer to cutting board. Cut each croissant into thirds. Serve hot.
