Slow Cooker Chicken in Honey Sauce

  • 1½-2 pounds ( 750-1 kg) boneless,skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper,to taste
  • 2 cups honey
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic,peeled and minced
  • sesame seeds
  • 387 Calories

    1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker,season with salt and black pepper.
    2. In a mixing bowl,combine honey,soy sauce,ketchup,olive oil and garlic.
    3. Mix well and pour mixture over chicken.
    4. Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-8 hours.
    5. Garnish slow cooker chicken with sesame seeds before serving.
    6. Serve with cooked spaghetti.

      Delicious recipe. Super easy to make. However it doesn’t look like the picture. It comes out as simply cooked chicken breadt with a thin sauce. Great over rice. My thawed chicken cooked in 2 HOURS in the crockpot though so be careful because the recipe says 8 hours. I love the flavors though and so does my husband! I’ve already made it server all times. Oh and I upped the garlic (can’t hurt :). )
