Air Fryer Classic Chicken Kiev Recipe

- 2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
Ina small mixing bowl, combine the butter and seasoning. Mix well, then divide the butter mixture into 2 potions. Place them into the freezer until frozen.
Using a meat mallet, pound chicken breasts until about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) thick. Place one portion of frozen butter in the center of pounded chicken. Wrap the chicken around the butter. Place wrapped chicken into the freezer. Freeze for about 20 minutes.
Place the beaten egg in a medium bowl. In another bowl, place breadcrumbs.
Dip the chicken into the egg, and then into breadcrumbs.
Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.
Place breaded chicken in the air fryer basket. Fry at 370 F 9185 C0 for 10 minutes, flipping the chicken once halfway through. Serve hot.
