Bacon Wrapped Broiled Scallops Recipe


  • 12 bacon slices, cut crosswise in half
  • 24 sea scallops
  • watercress sprigs
  • 1 fresh lemon, cut into 4 wedges
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste


Step 1

Preheat a broiler.

Step 2

Wrap each half of bacon around a scallop, securing with a toothpick.

Step 3

On rack in broiling pan, arrange scallops side by side in one layer. Broil,3-inches (7,5 cm) from heat for 8-10 minutes, turning once.

Step 4

Sprinkle bacon wrapped broiled scallops with salt and black pepper to taste. Transfer to a platter and garnish watercress and lemon.
