Grilled Chicken Wings Tai-Pan

Grilled chicken wings Tai-Pan. Spicy chicken wings grilled over charcoal or gas grill. Very delicious!

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 sweet red pepper,puréed
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon mint
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
  • 2 pounds (960g) chicken wings
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Method

Step 1

In a large cooking bowl combine together all marinade ingredients. Add chicken wings,cover and marinate for 8 hours.

Step 2

Preheat your gas or charcoal grill. Drain chicken wings and cook over barbecue. Baste chicken wings with marinade during cooking. Season grilled chicken wings with salt and pepper before serving.
