Oven baked cajun shrimp. Raw shrimp with cajun seasoning, spices, and herbs baked in oven. Very delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley,minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound (480 g) fresh shrimp,peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter,cut into small pieces

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

In a mixing bowl,combine lemon juice,cajun seasoning,minced parsley and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

Step 3

Add shrimp and toss well to coat.

Step 4

Lightly grease baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 5

Arrange shrimp in a single layer in a greased baking dish. Dot with butter.

Step 6

Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until shrimp just turn pink. Serve baked cajun shrimp hot.
