Oven Baked Honey-Ginger Pears

- 2-4 pears,peeled,halved and cored
- clear honey
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice
- 4-8 ginger biscuits
- vanilla ice cream to serve
Place halved pears in a pan of water. Boil over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes.
Place boiling pears on a nonstick dish. Drizzle with small amount of honey.
Preheat halogen oven to 440 F (220 C). Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile,crush ginger biscuits. Place them in a freezer bag and bash with a rolling pin.
Remove baked pears from turbo oven. Drizzle with more honey and sprinkle with mixed spice. Cover with crumbled ginger biscuits.
Return to halogen oven and cook for a further 5-10 minutes or until soft.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
