- 2 ripe but firm pears.cut lengthwise into halves,cored and deseeded
- 3½ oz(100 g) goat cheese,crumbled
- 3/4 oz(20 g) pine nuts
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 2 tablespoons clear honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
Heat the butter in nonstick skillet. Place pears,skin side down,and brown on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350º F(180º C).
Arrange cooked pears in a ovenproof dish and pour melted butter on top. Add 1/2 cup(125 ml) of water and bake pears for 10-15 minutes.
In a small mixing bowl,combine crumbled cheese and pine nuts. Toss well,season with salt,to taste, and set aside.
Remove baked pears from the oven. Divide cheese mixture among the pears. Spoon with honey,return to the oven and bake for additional 10 minutes.
Serve roasted pears immediately.
