Porchetta is a classic Italian dish of boneless pork that is rolled up with herbs and spices, then baked or roasted. It can be cooked in a slow cooker for a long time to break down the meat.
The cooking time for porchetta varies depending on the size of the roast, but it typically takes two hours per pound at a low setting. For example, an eight-pound roast will take 12 hours to cook in the slow cooker. Porchetta can also be cooked in an oven at 325°F for an hour per pound.
