Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes and green chilis, drained
  • 4 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Method

Step 1

In a large nonstick skillet, brown the ground beef over high heat for 8 minutes, making sure the meat is cooked through and browned all over. Drain the fat.

Step 2

Stir in the taco seasoning and drained tomatoes and green chilies. Mix well and cook, stirring occasionally, for a further 4 minutes.

Step 3

Meanwhile, slice the tops of green bell peppers. Remove seeds and membranes.

Step 4

Spoon an equal amount of the beef mixture into the peppers, then top with shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. Place stuffed bell peppers in the air fryer basket. Fry at 400 F (200 C) for 15 minutes, or until peppers are soft and cheese is bubbling and brown. Serve hot.
