Alabama fizz cocktail. Fizzes are a type of drink often enjoyed in the late morning and afternoon. They are usually served in tall glasses. Fizzes are made with liquor, juice from citrus fruits such as lemons, and sugar, which are all mixed and shaken with ice.
Then, the mixture is poured into the glasses and topped with club soda, champagne, or a similar carbonated drink. Sometimes, an egg (both the yolk and the white parts) is added to the mix too.
History of Fizz Cocktail
The first time fizz drinks were mentioned was in a book from 1876. People liked these drinks in America between 1900 and 1940. The Ramos Gin Fizz is an old-timey cocktail invented in 1888. Itβs a delicious mix of gin and other flavors, with the creamy taste of a Pina Colada.
Itβs so popular that itβs named after the person who invented it β Henry C.
What is the Difference Between Alabama Gin Fizz and Ramos Fizz?
The main difference between a Gin Fizz and a Ramos Gin Fizz is the ingredients. A Gin Fizz has gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and club soda. A Ramos Gin Fizz has all of those ingredients plus lime juice, orange flower water, heavy cream, and an egg white.
