Ingredients
- 1 loaf of french bread,quartered
- 8 tablespoons softened butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 8 oz (240 g) creame cheese
- 2 teaspoons paprika
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C).
Step 2
Using a spatula,spread the softened butter over the top of quartered French bread. Sprinkle garlic powder over the top of softened butter. Lightly stir garlic powder with butter,using a spatula. Then,using the same spatula,smooth 1½ teaspoons paprika into butter mixture.
Step 3
Spread cream cheese over butter mixture. Sprinkle 4 tablespoons of chopped parsley over bread quarters,reserving 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley for garnish. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the parsley.
Step 4
Arrange prepared bread on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven until toasted (for about 10 minutes).
Step 5
Remove toasted bread from the oven. Garnish with reserved 1/2 teaspoon paprika and 2 tablespoons chopped parsley. Serve hot.
