Barbecued spareribs with beer and honey.Honey-beer marinated spareribs cooked over a grill.Very delicious. You can also use an oven to cook them.
- 8 pounds (4 kg) spareribs,cut into serving pieces
- 3 cups (750 ml) beer
- 1 cup (250 ml) honey
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons dill powder
- 2 teaspoons sage
- 1 ½ teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
Place the spareribs in a large shallow pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour mixture over ribs. Refrigerate for 24 hours, turning once.
Remove ribs from marinade, reserving the liquid. Place marinated spareribs flat on the rack of hot charcoal grill.about 4 -inches(10 cm) from the heat. Cook, turning and brushing with reserved marinade, until brown(about 1½ hours).

Do you really use 4 pounds of chicken compared to the small amount of other ingredients in this recipe? Is this printed correctly? I can see maybe 1-2 pounds of chicken at best to have enough “sauce” for each serving.
