Broiled Knockwurst in Beer
Ingredients
- 8 knockwurst saucages
- 4 cups (1L) beer
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1-2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Method
Step 1
In a saucepan, simmer knockwurst in the beer very slowly 15 minutes. Remove knockwurst to a heated shallow baking dish. Reduce the beer to 1/3 cup (80 ml), by rapid boiling.
Step 2
Stir in vinegar and sugar. Pour beer mixture over the knockwurst and broil, turning to brown on all sides.
