Broiled Knockwurst in beer. Sausages in beer cooked in broiler. Very easy and delicious. Serve them over cooked pasta and mushrooms. You may also like Grilled Bratwurst Sausages in Beer

Broiled Knockwurst in Beer

Ingredients

  • 8 knockwurst saucages
  • 4 cups (1L) beer
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1-2 teaspoons granulated sugar

Method

Step 1

In a saucepan, simmer knockwurst in the beer very slowly 15 minutes. Remove knockwurst to a heated shallow baking dish. Reduce the beer to 1/3 cup (80 ml), by rapid boiling.

Step 2

Stir in vinegar and sugar. Pour beer mixture over the knockwurst and broil, turning to brown on all sides.
