Broiled Knockwurst in beer. Sausages in beer cooked in broiler.Very easy and delicious.Serve them over cooked pasta and mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 8 knockwurst saucages
  • 4 cups (1L) beer
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1-2 teaspoons granulated sugar

Method

Step 1

In a saucepan,simmer knockwurst in the beer very slowly 15 minutes. Remove knockwurst to a heated shallow baking dish. Reduce the beer to 1/3 cup,by rapid boiling.

Step 2

Stir in vinegar and sugar. Pour beer mixture over the knockwurst and broil,turning to brown on all sides.
