Ingredients
- 1 large whole chicken, boned
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Method
Step 1
Rub the chicken with kosher salt. Set aside for at least 1 hour. Just before cooking, refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat the broiler. Place chicken, skin side up, on a baking sheet. Put it under preheated broiler, about 3-inches (7,5 cm) from the heat. Brown it for about 10 minutes,turning the pan a few times.
Step 3
Reduce the temperature for 250 F (125 C). Cook for a further 25 minutes.
Step 4
Remove broiled chicken from the broiler. Cut into pieces. Transfer to a serving platter.
