Easy Fried Pepper Steak Recipe

Beef Steak with Seasoned Mushrooms Recipe
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients: 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted unsalted butter, 4 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) tick beef steaks, 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms, 1/4 cup (60 ml) steak sauce, salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions: Preheat the broiler 10 minutes before cooking time. melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Place beef steaks in broiling pan and coat with 1/3 of melted butter. Broil steaks 4-inches (10 cm) from the grill.
Turn steaks after 5 minutes, then coat with another 1/3Β of melted butter and broil for further 5 minutes. Remove cooked beef steaks from the heat and coat with remaining melted butter.
Spread sliced mushrooms over the cooked steaks, then add steak sauce. Season well with salt and black pepper. Broil basted steaks and mushrooms for further 3 minutes over medium-high heat.
Remove beef steaks with seasoned mushrooms from the heat. Transfer to a serving platter. Serve hot.
Flank End Steak with Fried Parsley Recipe
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients: 4 flank end steaks, 1 tablespoon peanut oil, 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, salt and freshly ground black pepper, 1 cup (250 ml) peanut oil, 1 cup sprigs of dried parsley
Instructions:Β In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon peanut oil over medium-high heat. Add flank end steaks and fry on both sides, then add butter and season with salt and black pepper.
Remove cooked steaks from the skillet and let stand for 3 minutes before serving.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat 1 cup (250 ml) peanut oil over medium-high heat. Drop sprig of dried parsley into hot oil and fry for 20 seconds. remove and sprinkle over cooked steaks/
Easy Fried Pepper Steak Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
- 4 beef sirloin steaks
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 garlic clove, peeled and minced
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) fresh water
Method
Step 1
Spread ground black pepper on waxed paper. Press beef steaks onto it.
Step 2
On a medium mixing bowl, combine remining ingredients. Mix well.
Step 3
In a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add steaks and sear on one side, then turn and baste cooked surface with sauce.
Step 4
When beef steaks are well seared on both sides, pour remaning sauce into the skillet. Cook to desired taste.
Step 5
Remove steaks from the heat. Transfer to serving plate. Garnish with sauce and serve.
