Five-spice glazed salmon fillets recipe. Salmon fillets with five-spice powder, molasses, soy sauce, and garlic cooked in an oven. Very delicious salmon recipe!

Choose a nice, fresh salmon, well-scaled. Rinse it in cold running water and pat dry with paper towels. To make your job easier, slice off the head. Now you are ready to remove the fillets from the bone.

Using a very sharp knife, slice along the back of the salmon to locate the backbone. When the first fillet is removed, cut away the backbone to release the second fillet.

Place the fillet flat 9 skin side down) and cut into it 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the tail. Rest the knife blade flat against the skin and, using a sawing motion, cut the fillet away, taking care not to tip the blade to avoid tearing the skin, or damaging the salmon meat.

Clear the salmon fillet from its skin, then lie the fillet flat, skin or outer side down, and remove the smaller bones with a tweezer.

Brush salmon fillets on each side with melted butter (better to use unsalted butter) and season with salt and black pepper before placing under the hot broiler. Cook until the flesh is clear and flakes easily (for about 20 minutes), turning once during broiling. Watch the salmon constantly to avoid burning.

Serve broiled salmon fillets hot, garnished with lemon wedges. Do you need more easy and delicious salmon recipes? Learn how to bake Honey Mustard Salmon in Foil
