Fried lemon garlic shrimp recipe. This is one-skillet meal-fried shrimp with lemon, spices, dry white wine, and garlic. Easy and delicious!

Use medium shrimp, peeled and deveined. Don’t overcook shrimp, it will become rubbery (I used a large nonstick skillet to fry it, a few minutes and it’s ready to eat). Also, try to arrange shrimp in one layer, it impossible to make, work in batches.

Fried Lemon Garlic Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon etra-virgin olive oil
  • 1pound (480 g) medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • 1 oz (30 ml) dry white wine
  • freshly chopped parsley for garnish
  • freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon

Method

Step 1

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter and olive oil. Cook until the butter is melted.

Step 2

Add shrimp, lemon slices, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir well, then season to taste with kosher salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp is pink, for about 3 minutes per ide.

Step 3

Remove the skillet from the heat. Stirin the remaining butter, dry white wine, and lemon juice.

Step 4

Transfer lemon garlic shrimp to a serving plate. Season with more salt, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot.
