Ingredients
- 2 pork baby ribs
- For the Rub: 3 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons sea salt
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- For the Hot Sauce: 1 quart (1 L) ketchup
- 1/3 cup (80 g) molasses
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/3 cup (80 g) brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Method
Step 1
Preheat your grill to 350 F (175 C).
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine all rubbed ingredients. Mix well to make a paste. Rub the spice mixture on the ribs until thoroughly coated. Set aside and allow to paste to penetrate the meat.
Step 3
Reduce grill heat to 250 F (125 C). Place spiced ribs on the grill and cook for about 90 minutes, turning occasionally.
