Grilled pork ribs with delicious hot homemade sauce! Yummy!!!


  • 2 pork baby ribs
  • For the Rub:3 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • For the Hot Sauce:1 quart (1 L) ketchup
  • 1/3 cup (80 g) molasses
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/3 cup (80 g) brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder


Step 1

Preheat you grill to 350 F (175 C).

Step 2

In a mixing bowl,combine all rub ingredients. Mix well to make a paste. Rub the spice mixture on ribs until thoroughly coated. Set aside and allow to paste to penetrate the meat.

Step 3

Reduce grill heat to 250 F (125 C). Place spiced ribs on the grill and cook for about 90 minutes,turning occasionally.

Step 4

In another mixing bowl,combine all sauce ingredients. Mix well. Brush the ribs with sauce.

Step 5

Grill for a further 30-40 minutes or until the sauce glazes and the meat pulls away from the bone.
