Herbed roast pork. Pork tenderloin fillet with herbs cooked in a halogen (turbo) oven.
Herbed Rost Pork
Ingredients
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled and coarsely chopped
- leaves of 4 sprigs rosemary
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound (480 g) pork loin fillet
- salt and freshly grpound black pepper
Method
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic, rosemary, and allspice. Mix well to make a paste. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Rub olive oil all over the pork and then rub in the paste. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Transfer the pork loin fillets to a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil.
Step 3
Set turbo oven temperature to 400 °F (205 °C). Place the baking sheet on the lower grilling rack of turbo oven and cook for 35-40 minutes, removing the foil for the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Serve the herbed roast pork with a selection of vegetables of your choice.
