Homemade New England Lobster Rolls Recipe
- 1 pound (480 g) cooked lobster meat, chunked
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh celery
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
- dash of hot sauce
- a pinch of salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- split-top hot dogs rolls
Place chunked lobster meat in a large bowl.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, parsley, hot sauce, and seasoning. Stir well. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste and stir again.
Add the cooked lobster meat to the mixture and mix well.
Brush both sides of rolls with melted butter. Toast in a medium fry pan over medium heat until lightly browned. Divide the lobster mixture between toasted rolls. Serve immediately.
