Homemade New England Lobster Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) cooked lobster meat, chunked
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh celery
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • dash of hot sauce
  • a pinch of salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • split-top hot dogs rolls

Method

Step 1

Place chunked lobster meat in a large bowl.

Step 2

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, parsley, hot sauce, and seasoning. Stir well. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste and stir again.

Step 3

Add the cooked lobster meat to the mixture and mix well.

Step 4

Brush both sides of rolls with melted butter. Tost in a medium frypan over medium heat until lightly browned. Divide the lobster mixture between toasted rolls. Serve immediately.
