Oven baked mocha cake. Very delicious dessert baked in a halogen (turbo) oven.

Ingredients

  • 3²⁄³ oz (110 g) white sugar
  • 3²⁄³ oz ( 110 g) butter
  • 2 large eggs,beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon coffee essence
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 6 oz (180 g) self-raising flour,sifted
  • 5 oz (150 g) icing sugar

Method

Step 1

In a mixing bowl,combine white sugar and butter. Beat until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Add eggs,milk,coffee essence and cocoa. Mix well.

Step 3

Add the flour and fold in until evenly combined. Grease baking sheet with cooking spray. Place mixture in a greased baking sheet. Set turbo oven temperature to 356°F (180°C).

Step 4

Place on the low grilling rack and bake for 45-50 minutes.

Step 5

Meanwhile,mix the icing sugar and a few drops of water until form an icing paste. Once oven baked mocha cake cooled,cover with white icing mixture and finish with a drizzle of dark chocolate.
