Oven Cooked Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 27 oz (820 g) beef, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups (750 ml) hot beef broth

Method

Step 1

In a casserole combine onion, celery, tomato, and sliced carrot. Mix well. Add hot beef broth, sliced beef, salt, and black pepper to taste. Arrange casserole in low rack of turbo oven.

Step 2

Cover the casserole with aluminum foil. Cook at 300 °F(149 °C) for 30 minutes.
