Oven grilled escargots. Escargots with delicious homemade butter sauce cooked in a halogen (turbo) oven.

Ingredients

  • 3½oz (100g) butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley,finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove,crushed
  • freshly squeezed lemon juice(from half of lemon)
  • salt,white pepper to taste
  • 12 escargots ,precooked or canned

Method

Step 1

Combine together parsley,garlic,lemon juice salt,pepper,and butter. Put in blender.Blend until smooth.

Step 2

Put the escargots into their shells. Seal the shells with butter mixture.

Step 3

Preheat turbo oven at 400°F(205°C). Arrange escargots on grilling rack. Cover turbo oven and cook for 5-7 minutes.
