Cooking Instructions for the Electric Pressure Cooker

To start cooking your Turkey and Ziti Casserole, first, turn on your electric pressure cooker and select the sautΓ© function. Add olive oil to the pot and let it heat up for a minute.

Add ground turkey to the pot and cook it until it is browned. Make sure to break up any large chunks of meat with a wooden spoon. Once the turkey is cooked, add dry red wine, basil, oregano, thyme, red pepper flakes, and salt.

Cook, stirring, until bubbling, for a further 1 minute, then stir in chicken broth, tomatoes, and dried ziti. Make sure that all the pasta is submerged in the liquid. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and set it to cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.

Once the cooking time is complete, use the quick-release method to release the pressure from the cooker. Open the lid and stir in frozen peas and grated Parmesan cheese. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt and the peas to warm through.
