Pressure cooker honey ginger pork ribs.Pork ribs with ginger beer,honey cooked in pressure cooker.Pork ribs cooked in pressure cooker turn juicy and tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 pounds (1.44 kg) pork ribs
  • 4 large garlic cloves,peeled
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 12 oz (360 ml) bottle ginger beer
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1

In a pressure cooker,melt butter over medium heat. Working in a batches,add pork ribs and brown on all sides,turning occasionally.

Step 2

Using a tongs,transfer cooked pork ribs to a large bowl.

Step 3

Stir in garlic cloves,honey and rosemary. Cook,stirring,until fragrant,for a further 10 seconds.

Step 4

Pour in the beer. Stir well,scrapping any browned bits off the bottom of pressure cooker. Stir in seasoning. Add pork ribs into honey-beer mixture.

Step 5

Close pressure cooker and lock the lid. Set burner heat to high pressure. When cooker reaches high pressure,reduce heat to low. Set timer to cook for 18 minutes.

Step 6

Open pressure cooker,using a Quick Release method. Discard rosemary sprig and garlic.

Step 7

Using a tongs,transfer pork ribs to serving platter. Pour honey-beer sauce over. Serve immediately.
