Salmon caviar avocado appetizer recipe. This is a very easy and tasty appetizer with red caviar, avocado, and smoked salmon. An excellent choice for any party.

Sour Cream and Red Caviar Appetizer Recipe

Makes about 1¼ cups (300 ml)

3/4 cup (180 ml) sour cream, 4 oz (120 g) salmon caviar (salmon roe)

Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and caviar. Mix gently. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve as a first course on fresh lettuce leaves, or as a cocktail dip.

Makes about 3/4 cup (180 ml)

Ingredients: 4 oz (120 g) smoked salmon, shredded, 1/3 cup (80 ml) cream, 1/2 teaspoon capers, 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, Tabasco sauce to taste

Instructions: In a food processor, combine all ingredients. Process until smooth. Transfer salmon mixture into small bowl. Sprinkle with additional black pepper over the top of the dip.

Makes 14 galettes

Ingredients: 3 tablespoons olive oil, 8 oz (240 g) potatoes, peeled and coarsely shredded, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1¾ teaspoons salmon roe

Instructions: In a large nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add about 1 tablespoon of shredded potatoes into hot oil for each galette. Fry, stirring occasionally, until crisp and golden brown, for about 5 minutes per side. Transfer fried potato to a plate, lined with paper towels. Drain and season with salt.

Salmon Caviar Avocado Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 oz (120 g) cream cheese
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 5 oz (150 g) red caviar
  • 3 oz (90 g) smoked salmon
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 slices bread

Method

Step 1

Cut one avocado in half, remove pit, cut into thin petals and gently take out from the peel, sprinkle with lemon juice.

Step 2

Mix until smooth cream cheese, avocado pulp, and lemon juice. Taste, if not enough acuteness, add lemon juice.

Step 3

Slice the bread, spread a thin layer of the avocado mixture, put sliced avocado, nicely put smoked salmon. Top with 1 teaspoon of red caviar. Garnish with a sprig of dill!
