Red Caviar Egg Rounds Recipe

Makes 12 appetizers

Ingredients: 6 pumpernickel-bread slices, 2 hard-cooked eggs, 3 pitted ripe black olives, homemade mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon red caviar


Instructions: Cut 2 circles from each of pumpernickel bread slices, using a 2-inch (5 cm) round cookie cutter, cut 2 circles from each of the bread slices. Using a sharp knife, cut each hard-boiled egg into thin slices. Cut each olive into 4 slices and set aside.

Spread a dab of mayonnaise on the center of each bread circle. Top with a slice of hard-cooked egg. Garnish with caviar and black olive slices.

Smoked Salmon Appetizers with Ricotta and Red Caviar

Ingredients: 7 oz (210 g) smoked salmon fillet, thinly sliced, 5 oz (150 g) ricotta cheese, crumbled, 1 oz (30 g) red caviar, sprigs of fresh dill, freshly ground white pepper, sliced bread

Instructions: In a small mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese and ground white pepper. Mix well. Spread some ricotta mixture onto the bread slices. Top each bread slices with the smoked salmon slice. Spoon red caviar on each bread slice and decorate with the sprig of fresh dill.

Ingredients

  • 1 potato, boiled, peeled, ad grated
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, boiled and grated
  • 2-3 black olives, pitted and finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red caviar
  • 1 slice of salted salmon

Method

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine grated ingredients. Mix well and create the ball.

Step 2

Wrap ball with salted salmon and top with a teaspoon of red caviar Put on a beautiful dish and garnish with parsley.
