Slow-Cooked Steak with Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound (480 g) boneless beef round steak, cut inch (2.5 cm) thick, fat trimmed
- 2 medium yellow onion, peeled and sliced
- 2 4½-oz (135 ml) jars whole mushrooms, drained
- 12 oz (360 ml) jar beef gravy
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) dry red wine

Cut the beef into 4 serving-size pieces. Set aside.

In a 4-quart (4 L) slow cooker, place sliced onions. Top with drained mushrooms and sliced beef.
