Slow Cooker Christmas Candy Recipe (Crack)

This is one of the easiest and my favorite recipes!

Ingredients: 16 oz (480 ml) jar unsalted peanuts, 16 oz (480 ml) jar salted peanuts, 12 oz (360 ml) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips, 12 oz (360 ml) bag milk chocolate chips, 2 bags 10 oz (300 ml) each peanut butter chips, 2 packages (1 pound (480 g) each) white almond bark, chunked (use vanilla candy coating, if desired)

Instructions: In 5-6-quart (5-6 L) slow cooker, layer all ingredients starting from peanuts (do not stir!) Cover the pot and cook on low-heat setting for 1 hour. Open the lid and stir well peanut mixture.

Close the lid again and cook on low-heat setting for a further 30 minutes, then open the lid and stir.

Turn off the slow cooker. Spoon mixture onto wax paper or non-stick aluminum foil. Allow cooling completely. Enjoy!

Slow Cooker Christmas Candy Recipe ( Peanut Clusters)

Another easy and delicious Christmas candy recipe cooked in a slow cooker.

Ingredients: 34½ oz (117 ml) honey roasted dry roasted peanuts, 32 oz (960 ml) almond bark, 12 oz (360 ml) semisweet chocolate chips, 4 oz (120 ml) German chocolate bar, crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions: In 5-quart (5 L) slow cooker, layer all ingredients (do not stir!). Close the pot and cook on low-heat setting for 1 hour.

Open the lid and stir the mixture well. Close the lid and cook for a further 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Line a table with a long piece of parchment paper. Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Spoon 1 tablespoon (15 ml)  of chocolate mixture, scooping out candy from the slow cooker, onto the prepared parchment paper, making sure candy is not touching.

Sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Allow cooling completely.

Method

Step 1

Spread peanuts evenly on the bottom of 5-6-quart (5-6 l) slow cooker. Top with remaining ingredients (do not stir!)

Step 2

Close the pot and cook on low-heat setting for 1½-2 hours or until chocolate is fully melted.

Step 3

Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Stir until peanuts are evenly coated with melted chocolate.

Step 4

Line a table with a long piece of parchment paper. Spoon the chocolate mixture into the prepared parchment paper. Allow cooling completely.
