Slow Cooker Cinnamon Java Coffee Recipe


  • 8 cups (2 L) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) dark roast regular grind coffee
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 small cinnamon sticks
  • 8 whole cloves


Step 1

In a 4-quart (4 L) slow cooker, combine all ingredients, tying spices in a cheesecloth bag. Stir well.

Step 2

Cover the pot and cook on high-heat setting for about 2 hours (do not boil).

Step 3

Turn off the cooker and open the lid. Discard the spice bag. Ladle coffee into cups. Serve hot.
