Slow cooker easy wassail recipe. This is a very delicious rum-based alcoholic mixed drink prepared in a slow cooker. You can also prepare non-alcoholic wassail:

How to Prepare Non-Alcoholic Wassail Recipe:

Very delicious mixed drink cooked in a slow cooker.

makes 1 cup (250 ml)

Ingredients: 16 oz (480 ml) can apricot halves, undrained, 4 cups (1 L) unsweetened pineapple juice, 2 cups (500 ml) apple cider, 1 cup (250 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice  (without pulp), 18 whole cloves, 6 3½-inch (8 cm) cinnamon sticks, broken

Instructions: Pour undrained apricot halves into a blender. blend until smooth. Place cloves and cinnamon sticks in a cheesecloth bag.

Combine all ingredients in 4-6 quart (4-6 l) slow cooker. Cover cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 3-4 hours.

Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Pour the wassail into a cup. Serve hot.

You can serve this wassail recipe as a refreshing cold drink served over ice on a hot day.

Makes 1 cup (250 ml)

Ingredients: 2 32 oz (960 ml) each jars cranberry juice, 2 cups (500 ml) water, 6 oz (180 ml) can of frozen orange juice concentrate, 3 3-inch (7.5 cm) each cinnamon sticks, 3 whole cloves

Instructions: In 5-quart (5 L) slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Stir well. Cover the cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 2-3 hours.

Variation of Wassail Recipe:

Use small candy canes as stir sticks in individual cups during the holiday season.

Slow Cooker Easy wassail Recipe


  • 8 cups (2L) cider
  • 2 cups (500 ml) cranberry juice
  • 1/3-2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon aromatic bitters
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 1 small orange, sliced
  • 1 cup (250 ml) rum


Step 1

In 4-6-quarts (406 l) slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Stir well.

Step 2

Cover the cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 4-8 hours.

Step 3

Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Stir the wassail well and pour into cups. Serve warm
