Slow cooker pork chops with cranberry-orange sauce.Pork chops with cranberry-orange sauce cooked in slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless pork chops,cut about 3/4 inch thick(2 cm)
  • 1 jar cranberry-orange sauce
  • 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • chopped fresh parsley(optional)

Method

Step 1

Place boneless pork chops in slow cooker.

Step 2

In medium-size bowl,combine cranberry orange sauce,tapioca,lemon zest and cardamom. Pour over pork chops.

Step 3

Cover slow cooker. Cook slow cooker pork chops on low heat for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Step 4

Serve slow cooker pork chops with hot cooked couscous or rice.
