Slow Cooker No-Fuss Turkey Breast Recipe
Very simple and easy two-ingredients turkey recipe.
Makes 3-4 pints cooked meat
Ingredients: 1 bone-in skinless turkey breast, olive oil, 1-2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) water
Instructions: Rub turkey breasts with olive oil and place in your slow cooker. Pour in water. Cover cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 4-5 hours.
Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Using tongs, remove cooked turkey breast from the cooker and transfer to a cutting board. Cool, then debone and cut into bite-sized pieces. Use for soups or stews.
Slow Cooker Turkey Breast Recipe
Makes 10-12 servings
Ingredients: 4-5 pounds (2-2.5 kg) turkey breast, 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped, 1 rib celery, chopped, 1/4 cup (60 ml) melted margarine, salt, lemon-pepper seasoning, 1½ cups (375 ml) reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
Instructions: Wash the turkey breast. Pat dry. Lightly grease a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Place washed turkey breast in the slow cooker. Put chopped onion and celery in the cavity. Pour melted margarine over turkey. Sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning and salt, then pour chicken broth around the meat.
Cover slow cooker and cook on high-heat setting for 6 hours or until turkey is cooked through.
Turn off slow cooker and open the lid. Using tongs, remove the cooked turkey from the cooker and transfer to a cutting board. Let cool 10 minutes before carving. Serve with cooked rice, spaghetti or mashed potato.

Ingredients
- 1 pound (480 g) smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces
- 16 oz (480 ml) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 16 oz (480 ml) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 16 oz (480 ml) can Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 1½ cups (375 ml) frozen corn, thawed
- 1½ cups (375 ml) salsa
- 1 large green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 large yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
Step 1
In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients, except Cheddar cheese. Mix well.
Step 2
Cover cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 5-6 hours or until vegetables and beans are tender and sausages are cooked through.
Step 3
Turn off the slow cooker and open the lid. Remove sausage-bean mixture from the psn and transfer to serving plates. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Serve hot.
