Smoked salmon wrapped asparagus recipe. Grilled asparagus wrapped in smoked salmon. A very easy and delicious appetizer. You can also use prosciutto as a wrap for grilled asparagus. Please see below to make it:
Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus Recipe
Ingredients: 4 oz (120 ml) whipped cream cheese, 1/4 teaspoon finely minced garlic, salt, and freshly ground black pepper, 12 thin slices of Italian prosciutto, halved crosswise, 24 asparagus spears, cut into 4-inches (10 cm), and lightly cooked
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine whipped cream cheese, minced garlic, and seasoning. Stir well. Spread prosciutto halves with cheese mixture and roll around an asparagus spear. Place on baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 350º F (175º C). Bake in preheated oven for 3-4 minutes, or until heated through. Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle with sesame asparagus mayonnaise and serve immediately.
Smoked Salmon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe
- 12 asparagus spears,trimmed
- extra virgin olive oil
- 4 oz (120 g) thinly sliced salmon
- freshly ground black pepper
Preheat barbecue grill to high.
Lightly brush asparagus with olive oil and place on preheated grill. Cook, turning once, until tender, approximately 4 minutes.
Lay 1 asparagus spear on top, leaving the tip exposed and wrap tightly. Serve smoked salmon asparagus wraps immediately.
