Smoked salmon asparagus wraps. Grilled asparagus wrapped in smoked salmon.Very easy and delicious appetizer.
- 12 asparagus spears,trimmed
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon orange flour water
- 4 oz (120 g) thinly sliced salmon
- freshly ground black pepper
Preheat barbecue grill to high.
Lightly brush asparagus with olive oil and place on preheated grill. Cook,turning once,until tender,approximately 4 minutes.
In a small mixing bowl,combine mayonnaise and orange flower water,if using. Mix well and set aside.
Brush top side of salmon with mayonnaise mixture. Season with salt and black pepper.
Lay 1 asparagus spear on top,leaving the tip exposed and wrap tightly. Serve smoked salmon asparagus wraps immediately.
