Baked Garlic Parmesan Salmon Fillet Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (960 g) wide salmon side fillets
- 2/3 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) melted unsalted butter
- salt and fresly ground black pepper, to taste
Method
Step 1
Set a rack in the middle of the oven. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200 C).
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with a large piece of aluminum foil. Arrange salmon fillets, skin-side down on the lined sheet. Set aside.
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine breadrumbs, grated Parmesan, parsley, and garlic. Pour in melted butter, then season to taste with salt and black pepper. Using your hands, mix all ingredinets until breadcrumbs absorb the butter.
Step 4
Pour breadcrumb mixture over salmon fillets, pressing it intothe top until salmon is completely covered. Lightly grease fillets with cooking oil spray.
Step 5
Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and salmon is cooked through.
Step 6
Turn off the oven. Remove crusted salmon fillets from the oven and trasnfer to serving plates. Serve hot with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
